Originally from Sandersville, GA, Atty. Paris came to the Tampa Bay area during his childhood. He obtained his bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida in Finance, then earned his master's degree in Business Administration and his Juris Doctorate from the Stetson University College of Law.
Atty. Paris started his career in corporate America while serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tampa, and associated with the law firms of Annis-Mitchell; Squire Sanders and Dempsey, and Gray Robinson. He later founded his own law firm (The Law Office of Clinton Paris, P.A.) which represents businesses and individuals with personal injury, business, commercial, insurance coverage disputes, contracts, franchise, government, real estate or other civil matters.
In addition to being the legal affairs director of TOBA, he is involved with many organizations, including the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Black Advisory Council, the Metropolitan Planning Commission Citizens Advisory Committee, the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Board of Directors, the Stetson College of Law Alumni Advisory Committee, the American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association (serves as delegate to the ABA), the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., the NAACP and 100 Black Men of Tampa. He also serves as the Hearing Master for the City of Tampa Hearing Rights Board.
Attorney Paris is married with a son and daughter, and is a proud member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
